Madison Indiana/ Rabbit Hash Ride

Ride Description: This ride is through southeastern Indiana to Madison. 1st leg of the ride will be on I-71 to Ronald Reagan highway to I-275 to I-74 for a short distance. Rte 50 through Lawrenceburg and then on to 2 lane roads to Madison. We will follow route 62 through Friendship on some very nice winding roads and end up in Madison IN for lunch. The return will take us across the Ohio River and joining US42. We'll follow US42 along the river to Rabbit Hash. After a short visit we'll head back to PK via I-275 & I-71. Please arrive with tanks full, people empty

Road conditions: Other than interstates and main highways at the beginning and end, most riding will be 1-up on hilly and curvy roads. Roads are in average shape with some deterioration from winter weather. The back country terrain is hilly with lots of varying curves and nice sweepers with great views along the river.

Costs: Lunch $10-$20; Gas

Kickstands up: 8:30 AM

Kickstands down: Return to Powder Keg no later than 5PM
