Group Riding Tips

Learning to ride with a group can be challenging at first but here are some tips to help. 

  • Arrive prepared. Arrive on time with a full gas tank.
  • Pay attentinon in the pre-ride meeting. A lot of useful information will be made available. 
  • Never ride above your comfort level or ability. 
  • Double check your equipment (T-CLOCS)
  • Tires
  • Controls
  • Lights/Electrics
  • Oil/Other Fluids
  • Chassis 
  • Stands
  • Make sure the road captain has your emergency contact information. 
  • Learn to use and understand the hand signals used by the group.
