VA Hospital Patriot Ride

Event date:
Mon, 05/27/2024 - 9:30am to 3:30pm

We will be riding up to the Dayton VA hospital to pay tribute and honor some great Americans who have served our country in various theaters of war.
The day will begin with a 45 minute ride up I-75 to the Dayton VA hospital.
We will prepare, cook, serve and spend some time conversing with the Vets. We'll also not only thank them for serving but to borrow a paraphrased line from DoD:
“TO THANK THEM ON BEHALF OF FREEDOM LOVING HARLEY RIDERS AND A GRATEFUL FREE NATION, AND WE PRESENT THESE SHIRTS AS A SYMBOL OF OUR APPRECIATION FOR YOUR HONORABLE AND FAITHFUL SERVICE.
After lunch we'll take a leisurely ride stopping at a Dairy Queen along the way and plan to arrive back at the dealership by 3:30 PM.
Plenty of time remaining to join the family cookout later in the day.
When you see the smiles on the patients faces is something you won’t forget. They are very appreciative of the fact that we come by to visit and talk with them as many don’t have family that come visit. Surely you can sacrifice a small part of your weekend to say "thank you" to those who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms. If you'd like to take 4 wheels, you're more than welcomed.
This is a Rain or Shine event. PLEASE CLICK THE EVENT SIGN-UP ON THE CALENDAR IF YOU THINK YOU'LL BE ATTENDING.
